About Nicolle
Children's Lawyer · Divorce Coach · Mindfulness Teacher

Hi, I'm Nicolle
I believe kindness is strength, compassion is wisdom.
How we show up for others - especially in conflict - matters.
As a child of divorce, I grew up understanding what it feels like when adults' decisions ripple through a child's life. That early experience shaped everything I do today. It's why, after years in traditional law, I shifted my focus to where my heart feels most at home: representing children and helping families navigate separation with empathy, clarity, and respect.
I'm now a children's lawyer with the Office of the Children's Lawyer and a divorce coach who helps parents move through conflict consciously - with self-awareness, integrity, and care. My work blends over three decades of legal experience with mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and trauma awareness, guiding families and professionals alike toward calmer, more connected ways of resolving disputes.
My Mission
To make kindness and compassion part of everyday legal practice and family life.
Whether I'm advocating for a child, coaching a parent through separation, or teaching mindfulness, my mission remains the same: to bring humanity back into systems that often forget it. I believe justice and healing can coexist - and that when we slow down, listen deeply, and act with heart, we create space for understanding, even in the hardest moments.

Over three decades as a lawyer, I've seen how fear and defensiveness block progress. I help people find courage through compassion - not control.
Mindfulness and Presence
My training as a mindfulness instructor supports clients in managing stress, conflict, and big emotions with grace - bringing calm and clarity to moments that need it most.
Lived Experience
I don't just teach these tools - I've lived them, in courtrooms, classrooms, and my own life. That authenticity is what allows me to meet clients where they truly are.

Kindness Isn't Soft. It's Steady.
It's the courage to meet conflict without losing our humanity. That's the kind of law - and the kind of life - I believe in. If you're ready to move forward with compassion, I'd be honoured to walk beside you.
