Catching our Breath

Mindfulness is very simple, but no-one said it was easy.

If we can take each day, each event, each person we meet as an opportunity to grow, we will eventually take control over our lives. We learn to respond with wisdom rather than reacting out of habit and judgment. Just like a new paragraph starts on a new line or a new chapter starts on a fresh page, that space separating the paragraph or chapter is like a breath- a pause. See each confrontation, each reality as a new lesson, a new page; a new breath.
